チダイ（ホシレンコ）Cheimerius matsubarai
奄美の魚、チダイ（ホシレンコ）は、一般に魚類の多くは稚魚の餌になるプランクトンの多い浅場に移動して産卵する。通常１５０ｍから２００ｍ前後の深場で釣れますが、産卵期の旧正月頃には、８０ｍ内外のしかも特定の浅場に集まってきます。住用町の市崎近くが有名です、この時期は良型のものが１本釣りで数多く漁獲されます。（奄美の釣魚より抜粋）
